V-Mart Retail Q1 Results: Profit surges 40% to Rs 47 crore
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 33.60 crore in the April-June quarter of the previous fiscal, according to a regulatory filing from V-Mart, a value retailer.
Its revenue from operations was up 23 per cent to Rs 1,088.81 crore in the June quarter of FY27. It was Rs 885.22 crore in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal.
V-Mart’s total expenses in the June quarter were up 22 per cent to Rs 1,031.94 crore.
Its income from ‘Retail Trade’ was at Rs 1,083.48 crore and Rs 10.37 crore from ‘Digital Market Place’.
The total income of V-Mart, which includes other income, in the June quarter, was at Rs 1,091.46 crore, up 22.9 per cent.
During the quarter, V-Mart opened 15 new stores and closed one underperforming store.As of June 30, 2026, V-Mart operated 591 stores, totalling 50 lakh sq. ft. of retail area.
Shares of V-Mart Retail on Friday settled at Rs 726 apiece, down 4.42 per cent from the previous close.
