New Delhi: Ecommerce logistics services platform Shiprocket has raised ₹727 crore from anchor investors, with participation from large domestic asset managers including SBI Mutual Fund, HDFC Mutual Fund, ICICI Prudential and Motilal Oswal MF, according to a regulatory disclosure.

The anchor book building also saw participation from global investors such as Goldman Sachs, Nomura, Mirae Asset and Societe Generale.

It comes ahead of Shiprocket’s initial public offering (IPO) launch on Wednesday. The public issue, aimed at generating ₹1,617 crore, will value the Temasek and Bertelsmann-backed company at ₹7,056 crore post money. The valuation is about 30% lower than the roughly ₹10,000 crore valuation at which it last raised capital in December 2024.

ET had first reported about Shiprocket’s IPO launch plans and the valuation on August 3. The majority of the fresh issue proceeds will be deployed toward marketing initiatives and technology infrastructure.

Shiprocket is proceeding with its IPO at a time when several new-age companies have delayed their listing plans amid muted institutional investor appetite and pressure on valuations. These include Walmart-owned PhonePe, quick commerce platform Zepto, cloud kitchen operator Curefoods and consumer electronics maker Boat.
