Lenskart Rs 1,857-crore block deal: Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, ICICI Prudential, SBI MF among buyers as Alpha Wave exits
Among the buyers were Goldman Sachs Bank Europe, Morgan Stanley Asia Singapore, ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund, ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company, SBI Mutual Fund, HDFC Standard Life Insurance Company, WhiteOak Capital Mutual Fund, Kotak Mahindra Mutual Fund, Motilal Oswal Mutual Fund, Bajaj Life Insurance, Kuwait Investment Authority and the National Pension System (NPS) Trust.
Other buyers included Societe Generale, Integrated Core Strategies (Asia), Susquehanna Pacific, Viridian Asia Opportunities Master Fund, Redwheel funds, Nippon India and the Teachers Retirement System of the State of Illinois.
On the sell side, Alpha Wave Ventures entities sold shares in multiple transactions, all at Rs 630 apiece. Alpha Wave Ventures II LP sold 98,38,209 shares and another 1,04,19,555 shares, while Alpha Wave Ventures sold 45,21,048 shares and Alpha Wave Ventures LP sold 46,93,858 shares.
Lenskart Solutions shares settled at Rs 636.15 apiece on the NSE on August 28, down 0.69% from the previous close of Rs 640.60.
For the year so far in 2026, Lenskart’s shares have gained 45.06%. The stock’s 52-week high is Rs 673.90, recorded on August 24, 2026, while its 52-week low is Rs 356.10, recorded on November 10, 2025.

The company’s shares listed at Rs 395 per share on the NSE, representing a 1.75% discount to the issue price of Rs 402. On the BSE, the shares opened at Rs 390, a 3% discount to the issue price.
