Kimmarie Johnson cause of death: What happened to Beverly Hills, 90210 actress before she died at 50?

Actress Kimmarie Johnson — best known for her roles in “Beverly Hills, 90210” and “Dude, Where’s My Car?”, has died, reports popular entertainment outlet TMZ. The actress reportedly died after suffering from heart issues. Rhonda Scott, Kimmarie’s niece, told TMZ that Kimmarie Johnson had a “heart event” on October 27 at her home in Los Angeles and had to be rushed to Cedars-Sinai Hospital, where doctors diagnosed her with a “heart aneurysm condition.”

According to CDC, an aortic aneurysm is a dangerous balloon-like bulge in the aorta, the large artery that carries blood from the heart through the chest and torso. The aneurysm can burst completely, causing bleeding inside the body. This is called a rupture. Dissections and ruptures are the cause of most deaths from aortic aneurysms.

Kimmarie Johnson dies due to heart aneurysm

Kimmarie Johnson, a model and actress who appeared on Beverly Hills, 90210 and more, has died at age 50. Rhonda Scott revealed Johnson died on Wednesday afternoon, Nov. 4. “She radiated a light so strong and bright,” says Scott. “People who came in contact with her felt nothing but positive energy. We will miss her tremendously and will continue to honor her life forever.”

According to Voyage LA, Kimmarie Johnson was born and raised in Wilkinsburg, Pennsylvania. She later moved to Los Angeles as she began securing roles in films and television. Kimmarie Johnson also participated in beauty pageants. In 2025, she revealed that she was working in the skincare industry. She had previously launched her own skincare brand, SkinGlow by Kimmarie.
Kimmarie Johnson appeared as Jane in a 1998 episode of Beverly Hills, 90210. Her acting credits also included the Pamela Anderson-led series V.I.P. and the 2000 comedy film Dude, Where’s My Car?, starring Ashton Kutcher and Seann William Scott, in which she played a character credited as a “jumpsuit chick”. She also appeared in Wanda at Large, the comedy Spanish Fly and the series Tucker’s War in 2017, which is listed as her last acting appearance on IMDb.Apart from acting and running her beauty business, Johnson also worked as a producer. Her LinkedIn profile listed her as the beauty director of a fashion magazine.

Johnson became a mother in 2003 when she welcomed her son, Cameron Nino, who is a musician based in Los Angeles. She remained active on social media, frequently sharing updates about her modelling assignments and professional projects. Her last Instagram post was reportedly shared on August 27 in collaboration with a fashion house.

Johnson also made what appeared to be her final red-carpet appearance on April 22 this year at the Los Angeles premiere of Michael. In August, she featured on the cover of a digital edition of Grazia Slovenia magazine.
