Kapoor’s hair was pulled into a sleek bun, with luminous skin, full lashes, a small bindi and glossy brown-toned lips.

“The invisible blouse sari is one of the hardest sari styles to get right. The fabric has to be neatly pleated and draped across the bust in a way that provides coverage while still looking effortless.
With heavier weaves like Kanjeevaram or Banarasi silk, the effect can feel regal, almost temple-goddess-like. In lighter fabrics such as georgette or chiffon, the same styling moves closer to romantic and sensual. A dhoti-inspired lower half can balance that exposure, giving the sari a more contemporary shape. A statement waist belt and oversized jhumkas are enough to carry the look through,” says Divya Balakrishnan, Vogue India fashion associate.
