Nothing OS 5.0 Review: Small Tweaks, Big Personality

Nothing OS 5.0 continues the company’s attempt to make Android feel a little less ordinary. Based on Android 17, the update keeps Nothing’s familiar visual identity while adding useful touches such as the Away Time widget, a dedicated Glyph app, and improved Essential AI tools. The beta feels smooth and polished in everyday use, although not every new addition feels equally worthwhile. Collector, in particular, left me wondering whether it solves a problem anyone actually has.
