Hailey Bieber’s Gold Saint Laurent Look At The CFDA Fashion Awards Is Actually Not A Dress

Hailey Bieber celebrated Halloween weekend with her husband, Justin Bieber, and their son, Jack Blues Bieber, in Los Angeles. But by Monday evening, the model had travelled across the country for the CFDA Fashion Awards. She stepped out at the New York City event in a luxurious, gilded look with a twist.

While her gold Saint Laurent by Anthony Vaccarello ensemble seemed like a dress in photos, it is actually multiple pieces. Per the fashion house, Hailey wore a long-sleeve brocade top with animal-free fur-trimmed cuffs, a lace flower cabochon buckle belt, and an embroidered baroque midi skirt. She tied it all together with Salomé sandals in metallic leather.

It marks Hailey’s first time back at the ceremony in nine years. She attended for the first time in 2016, then again in 2017.

Hailey is fresh off her appearance at the Academy Museum Gala on October 17, where she wore a pink Chanel gown.

For Halloween, she did a flirty take on an angel costume, pairing a white feather bra with black shorts, dark sheer tights and giant angel wings.

In February, the model spoke to ELLE about how she feels about being considered a style icon. “I think my focus has always been about the confidence and freedom to play with different looks,” she said. “Ultimately, your own style comes through when you feel good in what you’re wearing.”

Her style mood board has many references, with one ’90s supermodel standing out among the rest. “Inspiration can come from anywhere in life—photography, travel, food, music, and film can all spark something for me,” Hailey shared. “However, Kate Moss is always going to be iconic. She’s someone who truly stands the test of time and will always be a sartorial reference.”
