At Vogue World 2026: Milan, fashion cognoscenti from around the world gathered at the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II to celebrate Italy’s century-spanning contributions to fashion. The event unfolded across five acts, moving from Renaissance artisanship and Italian manufacturing to modern technology. Among the international crowd were several South Asian names, bringing a distinctly local perspective to the fashion capital.
In attendance were Rashmika Mandanna, Vogue India’s October digital cover star; interior designer Jaya Raheja; designer Dhruv Kapoor; entrepreneur Kulsum Shadab Wahab; actress Simone Ashley; designer Manish Malhotra; and businesswoman Natasha Poonawalla. Below, a look at what they wore.
Rashmika Mandanna
Rashmika Mandanna opted for a black lace gown from Anamika Khanna’s Moonlit Palace couture collection. Handcrafted over 350 hours, the sheer bodice featured a corset with a bejewelled detail exaggerating the hip, while the asymmetric lower half stayed close to the body. Mandanna paired it with Swarovski jewellery, cocktail rings and Vienna ear cuffs, along with Aquazzura heels and a Gucci bag.

Manish Malhotra wore a black shirt with matching trousers, layered beneath a button-down velvet jacket. He finished the look with a pair of black leather Oxfords. Actress Claire Holt wore an off-shoulder floral gown from the designer’s MAA collection, which he debuted at Paris Haute Couture Week in July of this year.
