You thought you were unbreakable, but really, Cap, are you? And honestly, there is no point in making shame a part of your vulnerable picture. What you need to remember is that your gut always tells you just what you need to know. That red flag, that suppressed emotion, that need to hold back or take off or fly—those are your gut, aka your ‘higher intelligence’, responding to what you cannot yet see with your eyes. For some, your ‘gut issues’ may simply be telling you that you need to stop shoving things under the rug and address them for what they are and how they make you feel. This does not make you weak. In fact, it does just the opposite.
