Ananya Panday never shies from experimenting with her fashion choices. The Vogue India cover star is often sporting Indian fusion wear featuring corsets layered with capes, bandhgalas paired with dhoti-pants and embroidered separates. This time around, for a close friend’s wedding ceremony, Panday stepped out in a bohemian skirt and top set from designer Anamika Khanna.
The hero element of the look is a butterfly-inspired, corseted halter top adorned with oxidised metalwork, mirror detailing and hand embroidered gota work. The heavily-embellished halter moonlights as neck jewellery, doing away with the need to wear a necklace separately—a choice that Panday, too, made by accessorising with just XXL dangler silver earrings with lapis embellishments. Panday paired the corset with a voluminous organza skirt featuring distressed and frayed details. Alongside earrings, stylist Priyanka Kapadia chose a cuff bracelet with lion motifs from New Delhi-based jewellery label Apala by Sumit.
Panday’s beauty look featured a dewy base with kohl-rimmed eyes, defined lashes, blushed cheeks, nude pink lips and a small black bindi, while her hair was styled in a sleek bun.
Over the years, Panday has turned to designer Anamika Khanna on multiple occasions. The actor walked as the showstopper for Khanna’s prêt label AK|OK, at Lakme fashion week in March 2025. Most recently, for an award ceremony in March this year, Panday wore an embroidery jacket and dhoti-inspired pants. For a wedding ceremony in February this year, the actor wore a corset and draped skirt set layered with an embroidered cape.
