This week, Sharvari, Tamannaah Bhatia and Alia Bhatt’s outfits were courtesy of their promotions for their upcoming projects, once again proving how marketing of a film has a direct maximum impact on pop culture with actors investing more and more time and effort in their wardrobes. Elsewhere, actor Mrunal Thakur and Sonali Bendre continued serving festive looks in saris that put craft and textile on the forefront of fashion. While Karisma Kapoor, who is a constant on most best-dressed lists, ditched a lehenga for an embroidered skirt set to make an appearance on a TV show. For the premiere of Don’t Be Shy, a coming-of-age movie produced by Shaheen and Alia Bhatt, the actor chose a sparkly skirt set from Ashish, a London-based label by Indian designer Ashish Gupta. The sequin-embellished T-shirt and mini skirt feature appliquéd sequin flowers that inject the look with a playful appeal. The sleeves and the hem also feature punched paillettes that add more sparkle to an already joyful look. She wore a pair of green pumps embellished with crystals from Aquazurra.
