Khushi Kapoor paired her red Manish Malhotra sari with an opulent choker featuring 25-carat Zambian emerald

Khushi Kapoor draped a richly-embroidered red sari by Manish Malhotra for the Ambani family’s annual Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations at their residence Antilia in the South Mumbai’s Cumballa Hill neighbourhood. The actor paired the modern traditionalist sari with a backless halterneck blouse.

Styled by Niharika Aggarwal, the red Manish Malhotra threadwork sari features intricate embroidery with multi-coloured resham in floral and vine shapes, while metallic paisley motifs lined the sari along the borders and pleats. Kapoor’s blouse was a cropped halterneck number with a high neckline, finished with a row of gold-toned tassels along the hem. Bejewelled danglers cascading down the backless design added a ceremonial slant to the overall design.

For jewellery, Kapoor chose a statement diamond choker from Manish Malhotra featuring a 25 carat Zambian emerald stone at the centre, while polkis and uncut diamonds set in a floral composition, formed the rest of the necklace. She completed the look with stone earrings, stacked red bangles and a cocktail ring.

For beauty, Niyati Rai pulled her hair back into a sleek ponytail finished with a hair ornament wrapped around the pony, while makeup artists Priyanka Trehan and Sushmita Vankar centred the look on defined eyes, warm-toned skin and a nude lip.

The look also followed her recent run of Manish Malhotra occasionwear. In August, she wore a butter-yellow fishtail lehenga by the designer with 3D floral appliqués and a sheer dupatta, while in 2025, a Manish Malhotra sage green sari featured pastel embroidery and crystal work.
