Kylie Minogue Wears Two-Toned Chanel Heels for Cruise Collection Show

This past Thursday, Kylie Minogue showed up head-to-toe in Chanel for the presentation of the Chanel Cruise 2027 collection by creative director Matthieu Blazy in Sydney, Australia. The singer wore a semi-formal cream-colored ensemble. She paired a simple skirt and cardigan combination with a classic pair of Chanel two-toned pumps for a subtle, refined style.

Minogue naturally sported all things Chanel for the event. She wore an ivory button-down cardigan and a midi-skirt in a slightly lighter white shade with a multi-strand leather and gold chain belt slung about her waist. She paired the look with among the most-beloved of Chanel shoes: the two-toned pumps.

Minogue opted for the mascarpone shade of these no-frill footwear, which feature slingback straps, a block heel, and, of course, the distinctive black cap toe that grants the shoe its name. It was an elegantly professional outfit that Minogue finished off with natural-looking makeup and a clutch bag tucked under her right arm.

Thursday’s event took place just before Chanel’s 2027 Cruise Line products were slated to hit store shelves. The cruise line is a longstanding tradition for the Chanel brand that dates back over 100 years. The line got its start in 1919 as the brainchild of Coco Chanel, who created the collection with wealthy women in mind. The famed fashion designer wanted to grant high-society women out-of-season fashion choices for holidays in warmer climates.

Chanel typically debuts their cruise line with a large show in the spring and does a repeat, smaller show in early fall. This year, Blazy’s first presented the 2027 cruise line in the French seaside resort Biarritz in April.

Last year, Chanel’s reprise fall show took place in Singapore. This year was Sydney’s first time hosting the show, fitting given eight of the brand’s Australia boutiques are located in the city. A host of Australian stars, including Margot Robbie and Chanel ambassador Nicole Kidman, showed up alongside Minogue for the event.
